Having transitioned from his Tonic alias earlier this year, the rising Californian producer now known as Deorro takes on the handy work of his stateside peer Cratesz’s latest Electro outing ‘Shotgun’ for Panda Funk Records. With his more recent label debut ‘Get Up’ for Sidney Samson’s RockTheHouze imprint asserting his mark on the European movement, the fast ascending American asset drops the bleeps for a futuristic take on the Electro House phenomenon.
Amid the season that has given rise to countless pounding floor-fillers, Deorro’s digitally scored canvas of grinding leads and mechanical beat work brings a fresh sense of adrenaline to Cratesz’s melodic original. Proving a staple in the recent sets of young Dutch heavyweight Hardwell, Deorro’s blatant hunger for festival proof Electro outings suggests this is one young contender to keep an eye upon.
